Mortgage and housing estimates

Estimates exclude costs most mortgage calculators omit — maintenance, repairs, HOA special assessments, and utilities. Budget beyond the payment.

Credit score estimates

No third party can predict your exact FICO® or VantageScore change. This tool illustrates the published direction and relative weight of scoring factors — it is an educational model, not a score prediction. For a simulation run against your real credit file, use your card issuer’s or credit bureau’s own simulator.

Credit scoring algorithms are proprietary. You have multiple scores across bureaus, models and versions. No third party — including us — can tell you what your score will be or how many points a given action will produce.

Rate and market data

Default rates are for illustration only, sourced from Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey as of the date shown. Rates change weekly — enter the rate you have actually been quoted.

Accuracy and currency

We work hard to be accurate and cite primary sources with dates, but we make no warranty that content is complete, current, or error-free. Laws, regulations, rates, lender requirements and scoring models change. Information accurate on its review date may not be accurate when you read it. Verify anything material with the primary source or a qualified professional.
