Privacy policy

The short version: every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your income, balances, debts and credit details are never transmitted to us, never stored, and never seen by anyone but you. We have no accounts and no logins.

Calculator inputs

All calculations execute locally in your browser using JavaScript. No input is sent to any server, saved to any database, or written to persistent storage. Close the tab and the data is gone. This is a consequence of how the site is built — it is a static site with no backend to receive your data even if we wanted it.

What is collected

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard request data such as IP address, user agent, referring URL and timestamp, for security and operational purposes. This is ordinary web-server behavior and applies to essentially every site you visit.

Analytics. If privacy-respecting analytics are enabled, they record aggregate page-view data. We do not use analytics to build profiles of individuals.

Advertising. If third-party advertising is served on this site, ad networks may set cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, governed by their own privacy policies. Any such network in use will be identified here.

Email. If you email us, we hold that message and your address for as long as needed to respond.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We do not require accounts, logins, or email addresses to use any calculator.
  • We do not collect Social Security numbers, account numbers, or credit report data — and no calculator here asks for them.
  • We do not broker leads. Nothing you enter is passed to a lender.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Third-party services such as advertising networks may. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the calculators will continue to work normally.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA. Because we collect almost no personal data, there is usually little to act on — but you can contact us at trever@barneyglobal.com and we will respond.

Californian residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected here with an updated date. In particular, if we introduce analytics or advertising, this page will name the provider.
